Core Challenges & Actions

Challenge Action
1. No existing design framework
Risk of inconsistency and delivery delays.
Built the first scalable design framework, including reusable Figma libraries and modular UI patterns.
2. Launching an MVP in limited time while balancing scalability
Need to deliver quickly while ensuring future growth.
Worked end-to-end: user interviews → wireframes → prototypes → delivery. Ensured MVP was modular enough to scale beyond initial release.
3. Need for data-informed decisions in early product stage
Making design decisions without user data or feedback.
Integrated analytics, KPI tracking, and A/B testing directly into design workflow to guide prioritization.
4. Cross-functional alignment across distributed teams
Coordinating with developers while aligning product + brand goals.
Facilitated clear handoffs with developers in Poland & Portugal; aligned product + brand touchpoints to support both user and growth goals.

Research & Insights

To guide design decisions and validate the MVP approach, I implemented a comprehensive research and analytics strategy:

User interviews
Identified learning & admin needs through direct user feedback and pain point analysis.
Usage analytics
Tracked feature adoption and informed navigation updates based on user behavior patterns.
A/B testing & KPI tracking
Measured usability improvements and validated design decisions through data-driven experiments.
Competitive analysis
Mapped positioning against other learning platforms to identify opportunities and differentiation.

Reflection / Lessons Learned

Framework First

Investing in a design framework early reduced friction and accelerated future releases.

Data as a Design Tool

Embedding analytics and testing made design decisions more objective and impactful.

Cross-Functional Momentum

Strong collaboration between design, product, and developers created clarity and speed.
